NOTD: China Glaze Solar Power

This is my new favorite yellow! It's such a lovely, warm, shimmery yellow. I do like shimmers more than cremes in general, so it makes perfect sense that I prefer this. The formula is really good. You need 3-4 coats for opaque coverage, but I really like how China Glaze flows. Some people have issues with drying time, but that never happened to me.

I like a bit of shimmer in my yellows also. That looks like a nice yellow with decent coverage. Lovely on your skin tone and with those perfect nails :)

I have this yellow. I haven't used it yet, but I hope it's more cooperative than the Barielle yellow (Lemon Drops) I used a little while ago. This is so pretty on you. This yellow looks like it's "just enough".

I have been searching for the right yellow. I'm not much of a yellow person. My hair is auburn and my skin is really pale. I feel like the combination would look like candy corn. You definitely wear it well though! Solar Power is among the contenders for a yellow I might try. :)

Crissy: I totally love it! It's the perfect yellow for me.

Mery: Thank you :) I do love cremes, but I think I'll always love shimmers more.

Saadeh: Are you looking for a cool toned yellow? One of new Nfu cremes would probably suit you.

clockwork: Me too!

Lucy: Thank you :) And yes, you do have to get it :D

The Pretty Brown Girl: Thanks :) I haven't tried the Barielle yellow, but I thought application of this was really good.

tarotbydiana: Yellow is new to me too hehe! Maybe one of the really pale yellows. Nfu-Oh do so many. There must be one that is perfect for you!

gio: Thank you :)

Sanne: Thanks babe!
