NOTD: Color Club Pure Energy
You might remember me having trouble applying Tangerine Scream from Color Club's Electro Candy collection a little while back. Today I figured I'd try another Electro Candy polish and the same thing happened! The polish was incredibly streaky, didn't stick properly to the nail, and generally pissed me off. I ended up using four coats. I have to admit that this evil polish photographs beautifully. I'll try a different basecoat next time. I seem to be the only person having trouble with these.

Everytime i see a photo of PE, I want to order another bottle lol. I used mine in 3 and it applied really niocely! What base are you using pix?

I just put Pure Energy on a few days ago and it wasn't difficult at all.
I LOVE this color btw, it's my perfect bright blue/sky blue/bright neon turquoise color. I <3 it.
I have had no problems applying Ultra Violet, Electro Candy, Pure Energy, Femme Fatale, Where's the Soiree or Revvvolution. I'm so sorry this was difficult :(

I LOVE this color! I can't say enough good things about it. Maybe you did just get a not-so-good bottle. Don't give up on it. The color looks fantastic on you.

Did you use Color Club's special top coat that came with this collection? I really want Pure Energy but I wonder if it looks as good without the special top coat.
