NOTD: Sally Hansen Nail Prism in Lapis Amethyst

In my opinion this color is simply magical. I can't stop staring at my nails. I had to use 4 coats to get good coverage, but it's so worth it. The color is a little more green than the pictures show. The shimmer is a gorgeous light blue-green color.

A problem I have with the Nail Prisms is that they all seem to dry very slowly - even with a fast drying top coat like Poshe. I make sure I apply them at least a couple of hours before I go to bed to avoid waking up with sheet marks.

Wow! Looks like the colour of mermaid scales or something. Magical!

That is stunning! Do Sally Hansen colors wear well for you? I stopped buying them years ago because they wouldn't last a week without chipping for me...but if they wear well now, I'd make an exception for this color...

Have you tried drying drops? Sephora by OPI's Drying Drops have completely saved me from sheet-lines. It's an awesome product.

Lydia: I agree :P

Jamie: These wear well for me. I can't say if they will wear well for a week since I always change my manis before that, but they do wear as well as other brands (ChG, OPI) for me.

Asami: Good idea. I've never tried those drops. Always figured it was a bit gimmicky. I'll order some and try it out. Thank you!

I have this in the Burgundy Orchid shade, and I believe I used to have the Lapis Amethyst. I really like this line. It looks pretty on you ;)

Phyrra; Yes, they are great aren't they? I love duo chrome polishes :)
