NOTD: SpaRitual Solid As A Rock

This is the first time I try out SpaRitual, and my expectations were very high. SpaRitual is Siobhan's favorite nail polish brand so I figured it would be heavenly! I was a little disappointed. Not because the polish is bad - it's quite good actually - more because I didn't really think the color was unique. It reminds me of Zoya Pasha though Pasha is more cool toned with sort of a silvery sheen. Application was good, but I wish the brush was a little bigger. I'll definitely pick up more SpaRitual polishes if I find colors I like.

Zoya Pasha for comparison:

I found the same when I tried my first Sparitual, which was Disco Inferno. It was nice, and the colour is cool but I have cheap polishes that look and apply better. Looks very nice on you though! :)

Yeah, very similar. Nice cappuccino colour though...

Pretty color. you certainly made SR polish look good on you. I can't get them to work for me.

I nominated you for a triple award. I have no idea what it is but it's a way for me to pay tribute to some of my fave beauty blogs...one of which is yours! Just thought you should know. http://pinksith.blogspot.com/2009/02/triple-award-thingie.html

What is it about those spa ritual bottles that bother me so?? The look like little jugs or something.

I don't own any of those, must be the bottles that kept me from doing it - lol! But then again, you are a picky bottle person too if I remember your count down list!

I think Pasha looks prettier, and I can't even really tell you why.

I must disagree here with your evaluation of sparitual nail polish. I love sparitual polish in
the bon appetit shade. It compliments my fair complexion. The rubber-like handle It is easy to open and steady to use. There is no funny smell to it. and it glides on smooth and easy and covers well.
It took me a long time to decide on this polish at my local beauty supply store (essentials at the mall) but I am sooo happy I did take my time, it has really paid off for me.

Lina-Elvira: It's weird, isn't it? Maybe it's different basecoats, or just different body chemistry.

Nixxy: Yep. I love those pale browns.

Elvira: Thank you. I'm sorry they don't work well for you.

Brooke: You are right! They look like scarabs! I like scarabs lol. At least the bottles aren't square ;)

Phyrra: I think it's a little more cool toned. Love the silver sheen.

Amanda: Thanks so much, hun :)

Lori: I wish they worked as well for me as they do for you. May I ask what basecoat you are using?
