Fyrinnae Haul, EOTD, and questions

Just before New Years I ordered some stuff from Fyrinnae:
As you can see, these look amazing in the pots:
I must admit I am having trouble applying some of them. Some of the darker colors (which is most of what I bought) seem to go grey on me. I've tried patting them carefully over Pixie Epoxy, but they are still just grey. I tried to use the gorgeous copper shadow that in the front on the pic in my crease today, and it turned dark grey too. I then tried using it wet, and that made the color more true, but also much more difficult to use. Sorry about the eyebrows and the flash. I'm really no good at these makeup pictures.

You can sort of see the foiled shadow in part of the crease, but it was very hard to control, so I didn't apply very much this way.

I used MAC Bare Study Paint Pot as a base, Fyrinnae Species 8472 on the lid and Fyrinnae Fire Opal in the crease and outer V, MAC Shroom on the inner corner.

If anyone has Fyrinnae application tips; I would really appreciate it. This doesn't seem to happen with other loose shadows.

I just have to say, great haul and I love the EOTD. You should post more looks :)
I honestly have never used mineral pigments, but if you already foil them, maybe you can change your base? Try something stickier like MUFE flash colours....

I love the look you did! I agree with Shadowy Lady you should post more looks.

No advice from me I'm afraid, I've never done foiling. Always though it owuld be too hard to blend so never bothered. Maybe I shoul just to try it out

Inge, I'm no help when it comes to F. shadows, but boy, am I jealous of you e/liner application skills! It's perfect. What e/liner did you use?

that's a great color, and you are good at photos!! Never used mineral pigments either - maybe try using a base, then one of the NYX jumbo pencils in white to make the color pop more?

That you ladies! Your comments are much appreciated :)

Inna; I use Paula's Choice eyeliner brush and Clinique Cream liner in Deep Brown. I find that those two work really well together.

scarlettholly; I might try to pick up a jumbo pencil. Those are pretty cheap as well!
